Punch a minnow, hurt a whale
PCB’s/plastic/pollution in ocean is getting consumed by plankton’s and they end up in the bigger animals in the food chain like predators (eg: dolphins, whales, etc..) which causes death rate of almost 60-80% of its first born offspring which gets the PCB through mothers milk.
In certain countries like Japan, whale/dolphin meat consumed by human were having PCB in the meat in the form of Fat and finally it ends up being toxic for human beings itself. Now when a mom gives birth to a child, PCB is being passed along.
